About the Club Welfare Officer
At Keidokwai Judo Club, the safety and wellbeing of all our members is our top priority.
Our Club Welfare Officer (CWO) is here to make sure that everyone — especially our young players and vulnerable adults — can enjoy Judo in a safe and supportive environment.

About Christopher
Christopher Kidd is a Level 1 British Judo Association Coach and the Keidokwai Club Welfare Officer.
He has over a decade of experience working in primary education and is trained in safeguarding and child protection.
Christopher was a finalist for Volunteer of the Year at the 2025 Active Blackpool Community Awards.
